This truly dramatic sculpture by the Ilkley based British artist V.M. Bean in Rhododendron wood captures an Arctic Tern on the point of take off. It has a paper label on the underside which provides the piece's title 'Uplift'. Little is known of this artist but the movement sculpted into this piece showcases their skills perfectly.
