This is such an impressive hand sculpted Study of Male Nude Seated, is signed TRW and dated '93' for 1993. It has a brooding sense of masculine power which has been achieved with the beautiful execution of the muscularity of the figure. The Artist has created a wonderful textured finish with a black slightly metallic glaze which has captured the energy and spontaneity of the piece. Sadly, this accomplished artist remains unknown
The sculpture has undergone some slight professional restoration to its feet, but this was essential to bring this important sculpture back to its best.
