This wonderfully executed hand carved sculpture of a Tern in Flight is by the respected Cornish Artist Peter Boex. Peter has captured the effortless flight of this graceful seabird whilst counter balancing the Sycamore wood with the natural rustic base reminiscent of the rugged Cornish cliffs. The sculpture has the Artist's chiselled monogram and the date '75' for 1975. This is a very impressive early piece by Peter which would have a real presence within an interior decor.

Peter is a British Artist based in West Cornwall where he is a regular participant in the Cornwall Open Studio Exhibition where the public are invited to his own Studio near Helston. He works in Wood, and stone and produces limited edition bronze resins.
