This classic hand carved abstract form with strong grain lines of Pitch Pine and sinuous shape are reminiscent of the 'hippy trippy' 1960s when this was created. This particular sculpture is very reminiscent of the lava lamps and it's finished in a high gloss varnish which, with the Pitch Pine, are synonymous with the 60s . Sadly the piece is not signed so the Artist remains unknown but it would enhance any modern interior setting.
