This is a beautifully observed hand carved life-sized Lime Wood bust of a Labrador Dog. It is mounted on a Walnut plinth and is signed 'DC' by the Artist at the rear, who sadly we have been unable to identify. There are three flaws, two on the ears, one on the side which have been professionally improved (see close up images), but these are minor and do not detract from the calm presence of this charming sculpture.
