This sinuously elegant sculpture in Laburnum Wood was created by Edward H Harle who modestly describes himself as a woodcarver on his exhibition label on the underside.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to find any information on Mr Harle or identify any other pieces by him, however this piece can speak for itself with its beautiful lines complimenting the natural contrasting colours of this most unusual wood. We have estimated it dates from the 1970-80s.
