This very impressive abstract form has been hand carved out of a single piece of Lime Wood with the individual links and balls allowing interactive movement when touched.
It 'tips it hat' to the tradition of Welsh 'love spoon' carving of the 18th and 19th century in a more contemporary way and would grace any setting.
At this time the artist's identity remains unknown, however the piece has the artist's initials 'S H' and an 'Anchor' mark stamped on the underside and it also has a paper label with the hand written title 'Intrigue'' and a former exhibition number (please see the close up image)
