This piece is an excellent example of Mid Twentieth Century Scandinavian design. It has been exquisitely hand carved in mixed woods with the main female figure depicted in Teak and the male figure in Sapele.
When we acquired this sculpture it had lost it's original base, so we have replaced it with a hand carved Teak one.
We believe it could be by the famed Danish Artist Simon Randers, however he always signed his pieces on the base, so we are offering this piece as 'after' or in the style of Simon Randers.
