This is a great piece of observation in a beautifully executed oak sculpture. As the two Abstract figures embrace, they are simultaneously each stabbing and being stabbed in the back. The artist has used metal pins as the daggers and there are small slivers of a darker wood which represent blood. There is a natural and stable split in the base which would have been there when the piece was created. Sadly, the sculpture is unsigned, so the Artist remains unknown.
