This elegant and serene sculpture of the Pregnant Madonna by Maggione has been hand carved in Lime Wood. It is signed and dated (1977) , however we have not been able to find any information on this talented artist.
There are some very slight knocks commensurate with its age but these are very minor and do not detract from the pure lines of this minimalist sculpture.
